Message from the President

     Hope your last visit to LHBR was enjoyable. As you can see in this letter we now have in house sales/re-sale’s, continuing construction, and the same old parking problem. We will start master bedroom furniture replacement in Nov. The building will have a new face next year. As with everything else our maintenance fees will increase a bit. I thank you for your support and hope to continue working for you in the future. If you need my help please call the resort and I will return your call or email.

Landmark Parking

     Parking at our resort is very limited.  Since our lease expired with the church we do not have any additional spaces available.  At this time we only have space for 1 (one) car per unit.  Any additional vehicles must find their own parking. 

     Currently some of our guests are using at The Harbor Coffee House for their additional vehicles.  They offer paid parking at $5.00 per day or $25.00 per week. 

Please see them after check in for your extra parking.

by calling VRI you may be able to reserve Bonus Time at your resort for $70.00 plus tax per night or stay at another VRI resort for Vacation Time, prices vary.

RCI Weeks Information

v   Be sure maintenance fees and your exchange membership fees are current on all accounts.  If exchanging more than one year in advance be sure your maintenance fees are pre-paid for that year.

v   Exchange early for greater banking power.  The sooner you exchange the more power you will have.

v   Have unit and week number for week(s) you are exchanging.

v      Call Exchange Company. 

RCI Points Information

     If you are in the RCI points system, please call RCI Points 12 months in advance to let them know that you want to use your week at Landmark.  If you do not want your week at Landmark, contact them for your points total and a search of where you would like to spend your next vacation.

RESORT RENOVATION UPDATE

New Phones in all units.

Elevator interior beautifully remodeled.

3 bedroom units have new stationary windows.

2” Faux wood blinds in all unit kitchens.

Exterior glass doors on the 16th floor have been replaced.

Each unit has new medicine cabinets.

New benches have been added to each elevator landing.

 

Construction Update

The balconies on the south side of the building are complete and looking great.  The third Phase was completed in February 2007 at a cost of $365,000.

Phase I of the balcony refurbishment came in at a total cost of $589,000 and was completed in March 2005. Phase II was completed in February 2006 came in at a cost of $314,000.

The north side of the building will begin November 2007 and continue through February 28.  This phase of the project has been sent to the engineers and is expected to cost just over $1 million.

If you are an owner during this time please be aware of the noise and dust and that your unit numbers may also be changed.

 

FLOAT WEEK RESERVATIONS 

1.   Please call 1-800-874-8770 one year in advance on the Friday before the week you wish to reserve. (Hours are 6am – 6pm Monday – Friday PST, 8:30am – 4pm Saturday PST)

2.  You can fax your vacation requests on Wednesday of that same week (fax # 949-587-2272).

There is no guarantee that you will be able to get the week you desire – have a 2nd week request available.
